MARYLEBONE TRIO . . .
The Marylebone Trio was formed in 2003 by postgraduate students at the Royal Academy of Music. The Trio has given recitals to
appreciative audiences around London and further afield, including appearances
at recital series in Hertford, Potters Bar and for the University College
Chamber Music Society. The trio will also be performing at the 2005
Stratford-upon-Avon Music Festival.
As well as
recital work, the trio also performs at events and weddings, and recently played
at a garden party in the presence of HRH Prince Edward. They have also given a
performance in the unusual setting of Marylebone station, as part of the launch
event for a new Chiltern Railways service. The trio also holds workshops and
short concerts for children, and has recently been chosen to perform on the
cruise ship the Saga Rose, on a cruise to the Baltic states and Russia in 2006.
The group’s repertoire is wide and varied, from the Five Divertimentos by Mozart
to a selection of Scott Joplin rags. They can tailor a programme to your
specific needs or requests.
